Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is a small and fashionable Jungle Hotel across from Anavilhanas Archipelago National Park, the world’s largest in fresh water, on the margins of Rio Negro (Negro River), 180 kilometers (112 miles) outside the city of Manaus.

Anavilhanas Lodge is nestled within a vast stretch of untouched rainforest. At his Lodge, you will find such diverse experiences as adventure, contemplation and knowledge in the heart of the Amazon Forest. The lodge is far enough away from Manaus to make it an adventure but extremely well organized and comfortable.

With 20 exclusive suites arranged in combined cottages or individual bungalows, the Lodge is nested amidst the forest as few can be. The suites are in duplex cottages, each occupied by two pairs of guests. The room and bed are quite comfortable, there's a hammock on the veranda, and  a powerful air conditioning unit which is under your control. The bathroom is large and has a shower with good water pressure and heated water; two sinks are outside the bathroom.

Anavilhanas includes a separate dining area and a common area with a pool table, books, and free wi-fi if you have your own computer. There's also an attractive swimming pool on a bluff overlooking the river and an outdoor hammock room for recharging. The pool is a great option  between activities or instead of them.

You will find the Anavilhanas a delightful place, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All guests are presented with guided tours by natives and bi-lingual guides in English and Spanish at no additional cost. The guides very enthusiastic and well informed. The excursions into the forest are fascinating. For anyone seeking for a jungle experience, it is an ideal and eco-friendly introduction to this wonderful landscape.

On arrival to the lodge, guests are greeted with lovely fresh juice & given a tour and itinerary for the next few days there.
The food is served buffet style with plenty of variety and there is always something to eat for non-meat eaters. The dining room staff is very accommodating.  Meals are served in a central dining room which is an open air covered structure.
