This Amazonian jungle hotel is located 35 miles up river from Manaus (a thousand miles up the Amazon River) on the banks of the Ariaú River. From Manaus you catch a river boat that it will take you to the only tree-top lodge in the heart of the Amazon.
Accommodations are basic, however, they offer a very unique experience . The rooms, restaurant and bar are housed on the trees, offering extraordinary panoramic views. Activities include motorized canoe trips with multilingual guides, jungle hikes, piranha fishing, bird watching, and alligator spotting.
The Suites are air conditioned, so the room will not have mosquitoes inside.
Also, where Ariau is located, the Rio Negro has an Acidic PH and mosquitoes cannot reproduce well there. There are not many mosquitoes in the area. You will not need mosquito netting at Ariau.
